I recently had to tear down my engine because of a stuck lifter. As I went through I noticed there was no oil in the pushrod associated with the bad lifter and the lifter itself was badly damaged, as is the cam.
Is it possible that oil flow has stopped to that lifter? How can this be tested and/or repaired?
It's the 2.2 liter engine, NOT the 4.3.
