nerf bars 3" OR 6"

Looking at dealer chrome nerf bars. I had 3" on my old truck and was looking at the 6 inch. They look way huge but I think I'm just not use to the look. What would most of you put on 3" or 6"....... thank you

Personally I prefer and have had 3" nerf bars. They were big enough for what I wanted. 6" Nerf bars to me seem like an overkill. But to each thier own. Only you can decide what look you want your truck to have.
