2nd generation Canyon is a totally different truck than the 1st. No comparison. Great size and comfort. Almost didn't buy after 13 years of Dakota but glad I did. Trifold tonneau cover on the way. Window vent visors, tinted windows, running boards, (a must for this short legged fat boy).

Yea, participation is light. That's a good thing. no problems. LOL I have no complaints with mine.

It's been three months now since I bought the 16 Canyon. No regrets what so ever. No problems to report. No transmission issues as in the 15's. Average gas mileage is 22 base on last 450 miles where I leave it. Size is just right. Easy to park. I could use a better radio but I can live with it.

I should have my 2017 Denali in another week and can begin reporting here, my 2015 has been an excellent vehicle and have had zero problems with it which included two 4,400 round trips.

After 4 months I have a complaint. The door storage pockets are useless. The only thing I find a use for them is change holder for the driver door. The wife travels with an office folder with directions and motel and restaurant info. It fit in our Dakota door very nicely. Can't find anything that fits in the Canyon doors except loose change.

Learned something new about my truck after 5 months. I have been folding the back seats down to get the rear head rest out of my rear view mirror. I learned today the backs can stay up and the headrest fold down. Not in my view anymore.

Seems like every time I put the head rests down I have a need to ,put a person in there, usually have a blanket over back seat and console so my Westin can travel back and forth from front seat bed to back seat. As for the door. Pocket I fold up a couple of spare leashes and mini binoculars.....in the back I put a water bottle for long trips with my puppy ( under seat is no spill bowl).
For quarters that I use at the spray car wash I have two of the G M ash trays with the spring lid, put a plastic baggie of quarters inside each, fold down rear arm rest and place the ashtrays in the cup holders, put the rest back up and $10 in quarters disappeared.

Headed off on our 1st road trip. 2016 slt towing 6 x 12 enclosed trailer with triked motorcycle and way too much stuffed around the bike. Short bed is also full. Headed to our 27' 5th wheel in a campground near Pittsfield MA. Don't think I gonna like the gas mileage. I let you know.

My trips to Texas, bed loaded with guns and ammo, have averaged 24.9 mpg and most of the driving was 70 -75 mph ( lots of 80 speed limit). My new Denali has worked it's way up in 700 miles to 24.5 mpg with country road and city driving. I am hoping for much better mileage on the Texas trip in July.

Well, on my 3rd day of 13 MPG. Heavily loaded down. A friend warned me it would be 23. empty with no trailer I get 24.

I made the trip to Texas with about 1000 pounds of people and cargo averaging 25 mpg for the 22,00 mile trip. Now two months later it is time to get the Denali out of the barn where it was stored all this time and ready it for the trip home next week. Will still have the same load but summer gas so maybe the mileage will be better. With hurricane Harvey gas price has increased 30-40 cents a gal this week in Texas.

back to 23/26 driving all over the Berkshires with no trailer. I'm not gonna like going back to Florida with 13 mpg and Harvey prices on the east coast.
