I've been looking at a 2005 Sierra 1500 SLE Ext cab 4x4 Z71 two tone. The vin # I ckeck out sais it's a 1500 SL 4x4 ext cab Lwb? It aint long box, I measured it at 6 1/2 ft ? the vin also sais it has a wheel base of 157? i think it like 143. I don;t get it, isn't the vin suppost to tell you what you have for your insurance and such. Is the vin wrong? It's a 5.3L with a 3.43:1 axle ratio. Is it possible the privious owner added some kind of package or something. I haven't seen the sales guy yet as I was trying to do some research on the net first, but i cant find anything like this truck anyware, it's like the specs are all rong or something. It has cloth seating and the vin says vinyl lol I don't know, mabe someone here can help me out.
