I'll start with my first. I'm not new to gmc trucks but new to the newer models. I've owned a few gmc sierra dmaxs in my life but not newer than 2010. I'm also a Jeep guy. Just traded my 2012 jk wrangler for a 2015 crew Denali. Well the projection headlights sucks on the rural wooded roads in my area of indiana. They are fine on open road area but not in the wooded country roads. My question is how to take out the lower bumper plastic to put in a up to 20" led bar? I'm use to having good lights on older gmc and killer Leds on my jeeps.

I can't help you on the lower bumper plastic. Give it some time, this isn't one of the most active forums I am a member of. Either someone will chime in, or no one can really help. Sorry to hear about the headlights, I know I'm not impressed with the ones on my 2012 (non Denali), now I have KC's. My 2003 Denali had fantastic headlights.

I've noticed not many people here. Kinda sad about that. Been on tons of forums and they are going strong. This one not so much. Agree later models have better lighting my 2003 duramax lights was great my 2008 duramax was great. Then got a brand new jeep wrangler lights sucked but added after market everything. But very disappointed in the lights on my 2015.

it sounds like you bought the truck used.
have you checked too see what type bulbs are in your lights.
you may be able to upgrade to ultrastar bulbs or some other bulb and it may make a diff.
