New Jimmy Owner

Hi everyone my names James and I recently purchased a winter/beater car and luck would have it its a GMC Jimmy. I'm a novice car guy that is getting into tinkering with things so hopefully I can learn from this forum.

Basically I wanted to introduce myself and ask if I got a good vehicle on my hands. I bough a 2DR 4x4 2000 Jimmy that has 200,000 miles on her and runs fairly well. I got her for 1400 bucks and wanted to know if I got jipped or not.

Anywho hope to be around in the future and nice to meet you all.

I have a '98 4x4 4dr with 130k miles. This forum has really helped me a bunch!!!!

As far as the price, I think you did OK. Hey it runs and it's a 4x4.

Now the fun part, you can start tinkering around with it.

I am fairly new as well, but have found some really helpful information on this site, and lots of helpful people, i think you got a good deal, i payed 1200 for my 93 GMC Jimmy SLT Trim 4DR 4x4, in Immaculate condition, haha... though mind you it was worth every penny, plus my Father bought it for me and buying used vehicles in my area is anything but cheap none the less, welcome and enjoy your stay, have fun tinkering
