I just recently picked up a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 WT. 5.3L with an 8' box and 4WD and 16K miles. This is my week end truck and I use it for wood , some snow plowing and running back and forth to home depot. I just got rid of my first ford which was a 1999 F150 with only 55K on it but the frame was rusting out. this is my 4th truck and I usually move them on after 5-10 years. I had 2 Chevy's and an early GMC so we'll see how this one goes. It's a basic work truck with a standard cab and long bed. I'll be interested in issues discussed on this site and will contribute when I can. I've been a gear head for 50 years and worked on various types of cars , trucks and engines.
