Hey there people, im new here. I just bought an 01 Jimmy for an amazing deal. There are only 2 quarky things that are bothering me, first, randomly, the abs and the red brake light come on but they only come on when the vehicle is first started, no braking issues, just the lights. Second, randomly while driving, i hear a winding noise from the front end, to get rid of the winding or grinding sound, i hit the 4hi button then put it back to 2hi and the noise is gone. It will be fine for days, then all of a sudden it happens again. I am a licensed mechanic but have limited resources for these vehicles, i am a master technician for KIA. Just wondering if this is heard of or something strange. I would also appreciate if someone could let me know a website where i could get some wiring diagrams or even vehicle info.
