ok first off a little background on truck its got a 4.1 L6 original 70,000 miles with auto and new carb
owned it two days and when i stomp on gas from stop or while driving it downshift but wont really pick up speed untill i let off the gas to where im bearly touching pedal and it will pick up if i put in first it does the same thing but when it finally catches you can feel it pull and if i shift to second and let off it backfires this really worries me cause if im taking off and pulling into traffic
the tranny fluid looks good a nice bright red and is full also what trans does it have
