Hi gang,we picked up our Cyber grey Met/Blk leather SLT last thursday.....We have been looking at all brands and sizes of 4 door trucks....I wanted a Dodge wife says no,too big...We decided on a mid size GM but liked the GMC Canyon on the fact that the Int. is much nicer....Not crazy about Black leather here in Florida but i guess we'll see how it goes!Very happy with the truck so far after 370 miles, ride is very good for a truck, cab is quite and first tank milage was 21.4.....and I wipped it a time or two,and yes it stops climbing speed at 100!!!!
Installed a Truxedo lo-pro Tonneau and will look at Running boards at the owners request(wife).....This truck is all we could have expected and we are very happy with it...Its a 50,000 dollar truck for 34 K.....and thats what we wanted!!!!!Motor safe out there....:)

Welcome aboard, Garry! Thank you for signing up. I live on the "other side" of Florida but my Father lives in Spring Hill. That's a really nice area. Building up rather quickly as well... Glad to have ya here!

Gary, glad to hear that you like your Canyon. Mine will be a week old tomorrow. I have an SLE Crew Cab, short bed. It is bronze alloy metallic with the dune interior. My wife didn't want a black interior. Only have about 150 miles on it so don't know about gas mileage yet. It is the V6. Just put on a Backflip G2 tonneau cover today. It really looks nice.

Up date on our Canyon...Installed Ionic Factory style running boards today, they fit up tight to the body and hide that ugly weld seam......all black in color....I think they look good on the truck without taking away from the lines of the truck....The Boss says there are great and its easier for HER to get up in the truck, soooo thats why they are great.....got them from runningboards.com....
Truck now has around 1000 miles and is running better every day,she drives it back and forth to work and is getting just under 23 MPG average.....ride is a little stiff with 35 lbs air in the tires, that may get a little better with more miles....We're very happy with this truck.....

Welcome to the group Gary love the Canyon my work place has one enjoy driving it very much does great on gas

Hi Garry, I'm just wondering how the running boards are working out for you. I didn't get any on my Canyon as my wife and I did not like the way they hit the backs of our legs when we got out of the truck. Your's look really nice.

Ken,we like the boards but you have to remember to use them or they will rub your calves getting out...I'm a 34 inch inseam and really don't need them but...its her truck soooooo I have learned to put my foot on the board, set down and turn in.....getting out I put a foot on the board and help myself ease out...Matter of personal taste I guess.....Thanks for the note.....Good luck with the new ride!!!!
