No brake lights on 98 Sonoma ??

Got a sweet Sonoma on good buy with the fact knowing that I had some electrical problems to qonquer.
Soon realized no brake lights.
I do have third brake light I have turn signals and hazards just no brake
Bulbs are good brake pedal switch is working cause I was told told if other function work the switch is good .
Any ideas I keep reading about brake wiring runs thru turnal signal switch

There's a brake light switch that goes bad it is located at the top of the brake pedal itself
