I have a 2007 GMC 1500 New Body Style, The issue is I will go to start the truck and it will be DEAD,no power at all. I put on a booster pak and 30 amp charger at it will start. I can go months before this happens again. I have no after market add on's and no interior lights are left on. The cables are clean and tight. I'm stumped.

you could have a drain on your battery, it may take awhile too lose the voltage but it could be bad cells in the battery, try charging it on a trickle charge for as long as you can to try and bring the battery back to normal state, if it happens again you need a new battery.

Where I work, the vehicles have a lot of add on's. Ever now and the a vehicle will lose its charge and will need to be jump started. Trouble shooting comes out that some wiring has reversed it's polarity and is draining the battery. I know that sound a little screwy, but when a meter is used to check continuity and there. a ground wire putting out 0.05 volts, where it was initially a ground. no explanation just pulled wire and replaced the part.

I had a similar problem on my 2009, the problem has disappeared without doing anything, I had read a post from someone with this problem and they suggested it might be the wire connector on the side of the transmission,

That sounds loose wiring or poor connection on terminals or ports.
