Hey guys I just bought a 96 gmc 1500 single cab auto 4x4 with the 350 vortec. It's a sle z71 off road package. I had a 95 just like this except in a ext cab in 06 for my first vehicle and its a night and day difference. The 95 I had would dust the 96 I just bought. Well here's the problems, oil pressure is at 60 when I first start the truck. If I drive it or let it warm up for about 10 mins the oils pressure will drop to around 5-0. It has oil and doesn't leak any. When driving the oils pressure is at 20ish. A this an oil pump issue or something else? Second problem is the truck is bone stock, but it feels like I'm pulling a heavy load behind it. It just has no top end power. I haven't changed the plugs or wires or anything like that yet. Would a intake and exhaust help open the truck up? I don't have much experience with gas motors I have own nothing but cummins since 07 so I'm out of the loop on these v-8 gas burners. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Ok here's some more info that I got today that might get someone to respond or help me out here. My check engine light came on so I had te codes ran at advance auto. It said I had a bad O2 sensor and multiply misfires. Tht could explain why the truck has no power but I still don't know about te oil pump.
