Got some gas I store in fuel cans about six-seven months, used it for the bikes and mowers, etc. About ten gallons, and hate to just toss it as expensive as gas is nowadays.

I know we can't leave it over the winter in the bike as it will gum up eventually.

SO, what about using a few gallons in each fresh tank on my truck and mixing it in, shaking it up real good first ...

Will that give me problems with fuel injection system? Or anything else?

Or what about an additive that will freshen it ...

2003 GMC 6.0L gasser ...

I often use gas that's 2 to 3 years old in my mowers and vehicles, and never had any problems. However, if the gas is over one year old, I do add some Chevron Techron gas additive, and a little top cylinder oil ( Marvel Mystery Oil) to the gas, to be sure it doesn't gum anything up. Diluting the old gas with fresh gas is also a good idea. Sadly, I also have about 50 gallons of gas that's at least 5 years old, and I don't know what to do with it. I can take it to our state recycling center, but they keep the containers. And, I can't legally transport the old gas in improper containers, so they make it difficult.
Outdoor burning is illegal too. I do have a couple of junk vehicles that need to be towed away, and I think I'll fill the gas tanks first with the old gas.

Out door burning using gasoline is the most dangerous thing you can do. The fumes will ignite and cause an explosion. I know someone many years ago ended up with his ears ringing for a few days doing that. He tore down an old house for the lumber (got house for free) and part of the agreement was all that would be left was the foundation to rebuild on. So he had a lot of scrap lumber etc and he thought, throw in all in the foundation and burn it. So he siphoned some gas from his truck and soaked the remanning wood and debis in the foundation. He stood on the end of the foundation and lite a match. BOOM Next thing he remembers was he was laying on ground, hair burned off his face, ears ringing and a terrible headache (concussion?). Said he was never so scared in his life, the flames were raging many feet in the air, people came running to see what the noise was all about. Fire dept responded. Never dawned on him gas fumes were extremely dangerous and one little match lite outside would explode those fumes. The foundation made it like a chimney and the fumes just lingered. He was told he was one lucky sob, if he has been 1 foot closed he would be dead.
