ok a few weeks ago my check engine light went on and the vehicle started to die at stop signs and when i was just sitting in one spot during first thing in morning start ups .Also i had to double peddle with the brake and gas when i cam to a stop just to keep the vehicle running .i got my 95 jimmy scanned ($75)and it said that the egr valve was faulty so i got a replacment from an auto wrecker($100) new one is ($300) I put it in and same problem never changed a thing so i took it out went back to wrecker as they have a 90 day warranty on parts got another one put it in never changed a thing got it rescanned($75)but it still keeped dieing figured ok i will drive it until i can get back down there to get another one i mean they cant all be faulty ...So anyway i was driving to work and my fan belt went i was only maybe 100 yards if that to my work started to back into my spot and my rad blew (plastic rad crap)so i got a new fan belt and a new rad also a replacment EGR valve then found out that my tension pully was seized got a new one of those so know i got every thing in .started up great but the check engine light is still on and it runs the same (keeps dieing)

this vehicle is my volunteer k-9 search and rescue vehicle so i really need to get her back on the rd
anyone have any ideas

Check the connection to your IAC (idle Air control) valve. If the wire leads are good, give the throttle body a good cleaning and you may want to give the engine a good cleaning with http://www.seafoamsales.com/. Your going to need two cans of it. ;)

P.S, not to be a pain, but you may also want to think of replacing your U joints and inspecting your steering components and ball joints. Lack of grease will cause those mentioned to not last as long as they should, i my self uses Marine Grease. The Marine grease last longer and have better values to repel water.
