ok a few weeks ago my check engine light went on and the vehicle started to die at stop signs and when i was just sitting in one spot during first thing in morning start ups .Also i had to double peddle with the brake and gas when i cam to a stop just to keep the vehicle running .i got my 95 jimmy scanned ($75)and it said that the egr valve was faulty so i got a replacment from an auto wrecker($100) new one is ($300) I put it in and same problem never changed a thing so i took it out went back to wrecker as they have a 90 day warranty on parts got another one put it in never changed a thing got it rescanned($75)but it still keeped dieing figured ok i will drive it until i can get back down there to get another one i mean they cant all be faulty ...So anyway i was driving to work and my fan belt went i was only maybe 100 yards if that to my work started to back into my spot and my rad blew (plastic rad crap)so i got a new fan belt and a new rad also a replacment EGR valve then found out that my tension pully was seized got a new one of those so know i got every thing in .started up great but the check engine light is still on and it runs the same (keeps dieing)
this vehicle is my volunteer k-9 search and rescue vehicle so i really need to get her back on the rd
