OK I guess I'll end this post based on the code not coming back. I talked to the tech today and he verified he ran new wires from the ECM to the B1S2 for the heater. I have checked for codes the last 3 days and so far so good. They did not find an actual short because they could not get into the complete wiring harness. This also concerns me because I don't have the evidence that this is the total fix or maybe they disturbed something in the ECM that will come back. Time will tell but I am still considering selling it.
