Parking Assist?

The Problem: Anytime a trailer hitch ball is installed it lights up the dash message. Push parking assist switch to off and good to go until you stop at a stop sign and then it comes on again as you drive away. It also comes on at 60MPH driving down the freeway. Is this normal? 2010 2500HD Z-71.

One other note, if a trailer is hitched up it won't do it. Local Tech support does not have a clue.

Yes, it does it on my truck as well. Its sensing something there and alerting you. It comes on automatically when the truck is shifted into Reverse. It only works at speeds less than 5mph But if its blocked or been disabled it may come on and warn you at anytime.
