I have a 2013 SLT with leather and the passenger seat back shakes and rattles. Has anyone else had this issue? It drives me crazy with thing rattling in the truck. I have not taken it to the dealer yet to check it out.

Your truck is brand new. Take it to the dealer while you can take advantage of warranty issues like this. They have to provide you with a shuttle to where you need to go and pick you up. If your vehicle cant be ready by the end of the day it is policy to provide you with a loaner vehicle. At least that's how it is in Saskatchewan.

Texas_DJT,
I would also recommend that you contact your dealer to have them look into this for you. I would also like you to keep me posted on the progress with your dealer. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me anytime.
Thank you,

I thought that My passenger seat back was rattling in my 2011 Sierra. It turned out to be the passenger side seat belt hanger up at the roof. Try tapping on the side of that to see if you can get the noise. It really was a piece of crap. It also took forever for them to get the rattles out of the driver side door. (over a year) They finally did get the noises stopped.

I will take it by the dealer. It is odd. I can see the Seat back shake when I hit a bump, but if I shack the seat back it doesn't make the noise. I hope they can fix it. It does drive me crazy.

Same problem

I have a 2012 Sierra Denali and its been doing this same thing. I have been meaning to take it in but the dealership is always such a pain to get to distance/traffic and it takes a while as they are always busy here in SoCal. Anybody know a home remedy? It's not the seat belt it's the seat back portion is loose and moving/rattling when unoccupied.

My ext cab back seat does the same thing. Mine is because I have a tire out or wack. You also might try tightening every bolt that you can find over there.

Got rattle fixed. The passenger seat had the lumbar install incorrectly which caused a rattle. It is fixed now.

The dealer said there was nothing they could do... It's just the way it is designed.
