Pinion and Ring - Jimmy 75 4WD 8V

I have a question about the transmission of my Jimmy, I have a 4WD SUV 75 jimmy 8V engine, and I want to change the pinion and the ring first of the rear trans, I want to know if the front trans shares the same parts as instructed LMC truck (pinion and ring) , I have an order of 3.08 relation from pinion and ring, but I have also understood that I have to change the parts of the front trans, please let me know if the rear trans share the same parts (pinion and ring) or is that the front trans are different, the pinion and ring, that more than nothing to make the order of 2 pieces of replacement parts and not only 1 of LMC truck, thank you very much, I hope you can help me, greetings.

ok so i think what your calling your front and rear trans are your front and rear ends.

Yes you need to change both ring and pinions with matched gears.(Front and rear) Now this is NOT a job for the do it your selfer. When you do rear end work you need to know what your doing or very bad things will happen to your walet.
you need to know how to set up pinon preload, side bearing preload,rotation tork, pinion depth,and run a ring and pinion pattern and know how to read it.

I don't know what you know how to do so can't say if you can do it or not. Good luck.
