Hi guys!
I'm new to this forum. I'm glad I found it.
I'll just get straight to it.

I have this 2008 gmc sierra 1500 4x4 Z71 I picked up about 2 months ago.
I got it with 140k decent price. No warranty.
I hardly drive it, I only drive it to work which is 10 miles a day 5 days a week. I changed the oil last month. (10-40 mobil conv. oil)
I was going to do a tune up soon.
I drove it this weekend to Fresno CA about 60 miles away (one way) I can home and through the country there are mud puddles on the side of the road I had my brother and brother in law with me so I decided to scare them a little by swerving into the puddles. I did.
Drove for another hour around town in traffic and on the way home the engine light came on a few seconds later gauges chimed for "low oil pressure, shut off engine immediately"
So I parked it and shut it down. Had to drive it home. So when I did it rode real rough and had no power (as if it was running on 4 cylinders) and the transmission shifted hard. I read the codes which were oil pressure sensor/switch and another code that read cylinder 4 mis-fire.

What should I do. I figure replace the sensor and delete the misfire code after? Where is the sensor? Is there two one up on the engine left-rear (oil pressure sending unit?) and one near the oil pan? where exactly is the sensor under the engine? please help!!
