Ok i have a 1990 gmc 2500 with what i think is a distributor problem.. one time the truck had no spark so i pulled the distibuter cap off and cleaned the contacts put it back on and it fired right up.. it was running fine last night.. i tried to start it in the morning and no spark again so i did the same again but this time it did not work.. it is the kind of distributor that has a coil wire so i replaced the coil and and checked that it was getting power and it is all the way to the distributor.. still no spark.. im gonna get a new cap and rotor tomorrow.. all the wires and conections look fine.. do u have any thoughts or sugestions
