power steering pump

Anyone got any ideas how to get the allen bolt out of the power steering pump. 94 GMC sierra 1500 4x4 350. I don't think it has ever been off.

what allen bolt are you refering too?
Don't think there is a allen bolt on the p/s pump.

The one that holds the pully on.

thats what i thought you would say...... Well my friend the pully is a press fit and requires a p/s pully remover/installer tool (rent one). The allen head in the middle of the pully is not a bolt but is the p/s pump shaft.

you can remove the allen pully using an installer if you don't have the installer then you can get it removed from the mechanic
