Problem with 6th cylinder

I have a 2008 GMC sierrra. It was was miss firing in the 6th cylinder. A mechanic told me i had to change gasket and some piston rings. I changed all of that, it was working fine for a while. Eventually I heard it miss firing agian; my car MD told me it was the 6th cylinder again. What could be the problem?

Tell me about the frezze frame in your pcm. Car md should be able to read it.

I want to know coolant temp,air temp,fuel trim,throttle pecent,
And how many miss fires it has.

soo now it stopped miss firing. Now the problem is that it throws white smoke out of the exhaust. It comes out as puffs, when u accelerate, it comes out thicker...
