I just bought a GMC Suburban. The owner, myself, and my husband went to the DMV to register it in my name. After leaving the DMV my husband and I went to get something to eat. When we left we got into the truck and tried to start it up it would not start. The owner had told us at the DMV that there was a security system on it that if you don't use the remote for the key less entry it would lock out the motor. I played with it for a couple of minutes when I heard a honk and seen it was the seller. I jumped out and asked him to come here and help us. He being a mechanic said he had to be the security system that had locked out the motor.
Here is the question HOW CAN WE FIX THIS???
I believe this part is called Suburban Ignition Starter Alarm switch. It has appeartenly caused the motor to not be allowed to start.
