There a great programmer system you have, the livewire program is the more advance system you can get other then a HP tuner which i have. You can log on to http://www.sctflash.com/index.php and down load your update for the Sierra your have and the best thing you can do is Dyno tune your engine to get the full potential for your tuner.

Dyno tuning can get very expensive due the the running time of the Dyno, that's why more of the time you get the drag cars on them to get the Custom tune. The down loads are great as a base line for you to get a better all round improvement, and then you can also custom tune your setting with the SCT.

If it's a wild 5.3 Vortec, you want a tr224 cam and the use of your SCT tuner, here you go. http://www.thunderracing.com/shop-b...ruck/Cylinder-Heads-and-Valvetrain/Camshafts/.

Before your start getting all the HP from your engine, start with your transmission first to keep you from spending anymore then you have to by replacing a fried transmission. Here is link and is simple and to perform for any transmission shop. http://www.sonnax.com/instructions/HP-4L60E-01-IN.pdf

Transmission seams to be always forgotten till you need to have it replaced after it cost more. ;) You may also want to replace the servo with Corvette servo. The other thing also you need to know about the transmission is The rpms are too high, but VSS is showing no movement. Happens after a tire burning take-off. Doesn't store a code, will not throw a CEL (I've heard that it will store a code if it happens 3 or more times). Cure: Reprogram PCM for VSS dropoff -- http://www.pcmforless.com/ knows about this issue.

Hope this helps so try not to do to many crazy one wheel burnouts.
