Question 0n 95 Jimmy shift cable

I have reached the end of adjustment on this cable(see picture). My question is can I fix something in the adjuster or do I have to replace the whole cable. The last time I had it adjusted the man told me it was an easy fix to repair it but once I took it down I cannot see what to replace. It will not shift at all now. The lever on the transmission works fine.

Please. Any help will be appreciated.
