I am thinking about buying a 2022, GMC, 2500 4by4 diesel Denali. It has not arrived at the dealer yet. I already know what the average dry weight and payload capacity of a Denali is. But what does the rear axle weigh empty? I want to know how much extra capacity above the payload I might have, knowing that it cannot exceed the maximum rear axle and tire ratings.
