Rear drive shaft

Hey all,

Im looking for a rear drive shaft for a 1995 k1500 suburban with a 460 trans in nj...

Heres my problem every junklyard i go to has the drive shaft but it's to short? mine split in half so the tube from universal center to center along the tube is around 55 inches.....

Does anyone know why there were shoter ones for this year and extacly the right measurement i need for this truck,,

Also if anyone maybe has one for sale somewere around nj?? since to get one made there telling me around 300 and im not that rich..

Also mine has no hanger bearing and its a spline yoke in front that slides into the trans...

300 bucks, thats not to bad. I just paid 560 but that included a new slipe yoke and it was made from scratch. The guy said they usually run 250ish but mine was too bent and twisted he could not use the old parts. GOOD LUCK.

i think the tranny is a 4L60 trans Get one custom made it not a lot of money.
