Rear window won’t stay in the track

I have a 1976 GMC Jimmy the rear window will not stay in the track I have ordered all new parts except the regulator and every time you go to roll it up the window comes out of the track I think it’s called a window sash and gate I keep going back to order different parts so I’ve replaced everything except for the regulator which seems to be in good shape I did replace the rollers on the regulator how can I keep the window in the track can you glue the window in or do I have another problem
