I''m not sure if I have to remove the air hose to the air box cover in order get the tabs out of the slots on the opposite side in order to remove cover to replace filter element. Does anyone have any experience with this vehicle?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, loosen the hose clamp and pull the hose free of the box. Remove the 4 screws on the box. Just did mine last week. 1 year and 13,000 miles.

Thanks!

Thank you Cavie, will do. On the other trucks I could cheat and didn't have to remove the clamp and hose. I will do such. Thanks again.
