Replacing shocks 2003 Sonoma SLS

I have a 2003 Sonoma Step Side with only 24000 miles on it but the original 10 year old shocks, need some advice on replacements. It's an SLS ext.cab 2 wheel drive model with the 4.3 V6, I do tow a lawn trailer at times but nothing heavy. No off road and looking for the smoothest ride as it's a daily driver just to work and back.

I have an 02 Sonoma I changed my shocks to belltech street performance. they can be ordered for most ride heights. im on a 3/4 drop and the old ones was terrible ride. since ive switched hell of a difference. if you can get them in the stock height they would be good. they also have a nitro 2 kit from belltech don't be fooled by balltech there a cheap version.
