running hot

i got an 82 jimmy has a newer radiator but still running hot any ideas on how to cool it down? thanks

replaced thermostat about three weeks ago with OEM part still seems to be running hot

are you sure the temp sensor is not bad and giving a bad reading to your gauge?

just cuz the gauge says hot...? do you have a thermo scan of the engine to get the real temp

so i replaced thermostat and coolant temp sensor did a coolant flush just to make sure nothin was built up in the motor nothin came out coolant was fairly clean put everything back together fired it up and the gauge still spiked started chasin wires turns out my instrument cluster circuit board has a short somewhere thanks for all the input now im in the process of finding a new circuit board
