I have a 2014 Sierra 1500 equipped with the heated/cooling seat option. When I'm driving around and I brake, turn or hit a bump causing my weight to shift in the seat there is a popping sound coming from the seat. I've had it to the GMC dealership and they have said it is the cooling duct in the seat and that nothing can be done to stop it. I'm not done fighting this battle but I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

I have this problem with the same truck as you, I have been wondering what is going on, it pops kind of a lot when turning and breaking etc like you said, but I do not have heated or cooling seats so it has to be something other than the cooling duct

Seat Popping

It's a known problem.
It's to do with the seat structure mostly when the seat is raised all the way up.
If you research recalls and complaints you'll find it's a common problem.
Your dealer should know about it if he's any good, or if he cares.

Sam :-)
