Hi everyone, i just bought a new Pro start autostart for my truc its an 01 GMC Sierra, the original autostart fried and the remote also, it has manual everything and i disconnected the negative battery terminal, removed the autostart module, pluged it back in, and went for gas, its a 3 min drive, went back to the school smelt smoke and the security module was smoking, I cut the ground wire and it stopped smoking.
I let it cool down and reconnected the ground, turned the key and the it runs on the starter and just dies, it flashes the security sign in the message center and the parkbrake light flashes i think 8 to 10 times then stays off , now i have a new module, hooked it up and the truck keeps on doing the same thing, anyone have any ideas??
