Hey guys, my serpentine belt on my 95 GMC Sierra is pretty badly cracked and i think it needs to be changed and would like to possibly try it myself. Is this a hard job to do or fairly simple..? If so can somebody me tell me the steps involved in changing the belt..?

well if your that unsure you should goggle a video on it. easy job to do. (Hint) look at and remember the belt routing before you pull it.

It is a very simple job to do. Make sure you have a 1/2" drive rachet or breaker bar. If you still have the sticker that shows the drive belt routing on or near the top radiator shroud you are good to go. Just make sure you get the proper belt. Use your vin number if you are unsure when you go get it.
1. use the rachet and pull back on the idler pulley. there is a slot for it
2. while holding the pulley back, remove the belt off one of the other pulleys.
3. release your hold on the idler pulley, and remove the belt all the way.
4. go in reverse order and you are done.
