I would like to purchase a service manual for my 1996 Jimmy. I went to the Goodwrench website, which sent me to the "GMC Online Bookstore", where they want $90 for a service manual. Are there any decent service manuals out there that are more reasonably priced?

Hey y'all, I'm trying to locate a downloadable repair manual, not an operations manual. I have a busted rear end axle seal that is bleeding out through my left rear drum brakes. Fluid is everywhere. I guess I need to determine which rear end I have to decide where the seal is actually located. Any other tips. Thanks in advance.

I know I've seen them and I think I have a couple of them downloaded myself. Let me look and see what I have.
Broken seal, if you haven't fixed it yet, just get a price and the part from your local Autozone or Oreilly's .... they have model specific manuals for about $ 25. You'll remove the differential cover and the manual will tell you the fastening method to release the axle to remove it, then replace the seal ...
