Hello,

I went to the show room of GMC, looking for the sierra denali 2009, however i noticed that some sierra's are made in Canada, where others are made in mexico?

my question is what is the difference, and is there any quality dif

I'd personally trust ones made in the USA first, then Canada, then Mexico. For me, it's a patriotic choice as well. I feel better supporting my fellow Americans first whenever I can. Just look at the first digit of the VIN. It tells you where the vehicle was assembled. 1=USA, 2=Canada, 3= Mexico. That is, unless they've changed the meaning of the first digit. Maybe others can chime in as to any differences in the vehicles. As far as quality, I'd say just go with your gut, unless there's data that suggests the various factories put out vehicles of different quality.

Because this isn't an overly active forum. My 2012 was made in Mexico. Except for a transmission issue at 6,000 miles, it has been problem free. I would probably attribute at least part of the lack of problems on it being a work truck package and there isn't much in the way of accessories / options to give me problems.
