Going camping in a couple weeks, and we are between campers. Does anyone have success in sleeping comfortably in their truck?

I have laid the rear seats down in our Tahoe before, but I won't be able to take it this time.

I have a crew cab.

Any suggestions would be great.

Lol - I sleep in my crew cab drivers sleep all the time waiting for my wife while she
shops in stores. Sometimes several hours go by before she wakes me up.

A good idea! If you can spare 200$ you can actually get a truck bed tent. I have one of these that I bought from a Cabelas, and its actually pretty nice.

this reminds me of hard times. I was homeless with my black lab trying to find a house to rent under a had to be certain amount and hated apts. At that time i had a super crew ford lariat. Beautiful truck and from sept1st to dec 14th. me and the dog, sometimes the dog in the front seat and it was not fun at all. i slept ok but just don't be homeless or you'll experience what i did.

it's degrading, demoralizing, cold and sometimes there is no light at the end of the tunnel being on a fixed income. used canopies are all over the place. throw a twin mattress in the back and your good.

i have slept in my 2013 with the rear seat folded up. the only uncomfortable thing about it is the drive shaft hump. but i have slept for up to 6 hrs in it and woke up refreshed
