I was wandering if there was something i could do to adjust the lean on my truck. I lowered it 2f/4r and it still has the stock lean where the right side sits higher than the left. anyway i could change that without adding to the lower side? i have 4 finger lengths on the right and 3 on the left. it is noticeable if you look directly at the front/rear of the truck.

Are you sure you don't have a blown shock or just one that is going bad?

all shocks are brand new
new springs in front
new shackles and hangars
has a 2/4 f/r drop, but everything matched up
tires on all 4 are the same too.
after i replaced 22's with 20's it is less visible now.

are you sure you dont have a bumper issue or something messed up in the body mounts? ive never noticed any trucks having a stock lean.

with that being said if everything is kosher and you have a lean you could always shim the body mounts.

I don't have a Sierra, and I assume it has a torsion bar suspension. OK, now for the generic information if the above is true. The torsion bars have an adjustment. The adjustment /set/lock bolt and nut, are under vehicle, about half way between front and back tires. Just trace the torsion bars rearward to their termination point. If you're unable to get the desired height by using the set/lock nut and bolt, you can rotate the torsion bar into a different position, and fine tune the setting using the set/lock nut and bolt, but only after releasing the pressure on it and removing the the set/lock bolt and nut.

PLEASE BEWARE. The torsion bar is under a lot of tension and can hurt you badly. There is a procedure for loosening the set bolt using "C" clamps. So, TREAD LIGHTLY.

If you need more info, let me know. I had to remove my torsion bars to change out the lower control arms.

it depend on the model not all of them have bars or tortion bars

The lean problem you describe is known as "chevy lean". My 06 GMC has the same issue and from what i have been able to learn is that it is a factory defect. I've learned that it may be an issue with the heat treat process in the frame that has caused a 1 -3 inch twist. If you start looking at other Gmc and Chevy trucks made since about 2002 you will notice many have this problem. Many owners don't even realize it. Some owners have fixed this lean problem by installing a different left side spring. Spring Part #SC20222 Front;w/AC; w/ A/t; Pickup 2WD;Use to minimize Lean If OEM Drivers Side Body sits 1/2" to 1" Lower Than Passenger Side..........GM is aware of this defect and chooses to do nothing about it.
