Hello again.

My Jimmy, the engine will be warmed up and been running for about an hour. When I turn off the engine to go into a store or something, then come back to turn it on it seems to put put into life, like it needs more coaxing or something. I normally just let the start go a little longer then usual, but I want to know if there could be possibly something else starting to go wrong.

I want to get this fixed before something more costly happens.

You could have a faulty fuel pressure regulator return valve. It's located at the fuel pump and what happens is when it warms up like after you have been driving. The fuel system posses it's pressure prim so best thing to do is to turn the ignition keys to the run position and keep it there for 5 to 10 seconds before you try to start the engine. This will re-pressurize the fuel line and you'll save your starter from working harder to start the engine. The other cause would be and early sign of the fuel pump getting to dirty to allow proper fuel flow. Start with the simple and have the fuel filter replaced and have your fuel pressure checked at the shredder valve, ther should be 62-65psi at the valve "engine not running" and should drop about 5 psi when the engine is running. :D

I've been adding Fuel Injector cleaner as of late, could that be loosening deposits and clogging the system?

If the fuel filter has never been replaced, it may be time. The fuel filter should be replaced every 15,000 miles or once a year to keep your fuel system running 100%. Start with that and yes running fuel injector cleaner will loosen up a ny dirt in the gas tank for the fuel filter to catch. Keep me posted. :D

Looking through the service tags in the back of the user manual, the previous owner replaced the filter at least twice in it's 105,000 that they owned it. So, yes it is time to replace the filter. I'll let you know when I get that done and see if it changes anything.
