Tailgate/Rear window lockset removal?

OK -- another issue I have with this truck.
Not the end of the world... but a pain for sure...
The rear door lock is either frozen or broken outright. Cannot even get the key to fully insert into the lock. Power windows (naturally) so-- I cannot access the rear of the truck without climbing over the seats. I have the access panel open inside the tailgate panel itself-- but I don't know how-- or IF there's a way to release the lock manually.

Any ideas ? Other than using a slide-hammer to jerk the lock itself out ? :D
