2011 Gmc What Is Torque Spec. For Cab Mount Bolts, I Installed Nerf Bars On Reg Cab Nab The Squeak Is Killing Me,help Please:

I have the same issue. I called the salesman and was told that it was 90ft lbs, but the mechanics tighten them as tight as possible. I have tightened mine until they feel like they are about to strip, but no joy
In looking at the GMC steps, the brackets look like they bolt to the frame instead of using the body mounts. I am going back after lunch to look at some that are mounted. If that is the case, anyone want to buy some aftermarket steps cheap?

for the squeak remove bolts and steps. put grease on the rubbers and medal parts reinstall and tighen till the cows come home. squeak will be gone.
