Towing experience with the Canyon

What have owners experienced with their tow weights? At a stated max tow 7,700 lbs my rule of thumb has been to plan for a max of 80% or 6,160. I’ve downsized to a 2024 Canyon Denali and a trailer with an empty weight of 5,200 lbs.
