I've been thinking about replacing the standard outside mirrors with the larger extending towing mirrors. I have found OEM ones on sale with both heated feature and the turn signal feature.
Vehicle is 2012 Sierra 1500 Crew cab
Is the wiring harness already in each existing mirror mount for these features? The service manager at the dealership totally admitted he didn't have a clue, which is disturbing as he said the same thing when u asked him a question in the backup warning sensors (time for a new dealer. More than one place locally).
I am thinking of asking someone at a large body shop/collision repair center, as surely they have had to replace these or remove to paint, etc. This might be the dealer's problem as they do not have a body shop.
