trading pickups

i have a 2000 sierra not much in extras done to it and im thinking about trading for a 1996 1500 350 vortec bored out to 380 with a 6 in procomp lift and 35 in fierce attitudeds dual gibson headers and a new tranny he has recently told me it needs a pinion gear in the rear

and i was curious what you guys think about it and how much it should cost for the gear

Keep your truck. All you will be doing getting someone elses problems. You can almost bank on it being a money pit and you will be sure to regret the day you did this.

Jacked up trucks always have drive line problems..should tell you something about how it was used, new transmission, rear axle shot, ?? what next? Run as fast as you can from this pos deal. He would be getting the better vehicle IMO.
