I am trying to set up a trailer brake actuator in a 2010 
GMC Sierra. I have installed the 40 amp fuse into the fuse centre under the hood and attached the red and black wire to the proper post. While there is power on the wire at the post there is no current in the red and black wire in the cab under the dash which is intended to power the actuator. Is there another connection or fuse in the same line between the engine compartment and the cab?
