Transmission #/Code?

Need to know part numbers or a specific name to look up a new transmission..

94 Sierra 1500 4x4, 305 v8, 5-speed manual transmission.

Incase anyone else is in need of codes/numbers the stock 5-speed a
manual transmission from this era of Sierra is the NV3500.

this is basically the information I came up with in my short search.
Automatics:
4L60-E
4L80-E

Manual:
NV3500
NV4500

Look in the glove box for the option codes, on label. Look for any codes that start with M??, as those are transmission codes. They go to this link and input the codes.......RPO Code Lookup

NV3500

NV4500 (HD version, not likely in 1500)

4L80E is not likely in a truck with a 5.0L engine, these are used in 2500 series trucks.

Thanks. Got another question now..
Are the bell housings removable on the NV3500? Have one in great condition but its got a bolt hole missing, and a chunk out of the housing where it bolts to the engine.

Would love it if I could just swap the good housing from the shitty tranny, to the good tranny with the shitty housing! Possible? It looks like its bolted on, but it also looks like there are some pins in place that won't come out with any sort of ease.
