the transmission lines have seen better days on my truck an I was wondering if I could use braided lines to substitute for the solid lines. And I've been told to put a intercooler to the trans? I just didn't know how to go on doing that.

Yes you can use braided hoses, but make sure the hose it self you order is for transmission. The fluid will destroy normal rubber hoses and you want to install the cooler on the return line to the transmission after it goes through the radiator.

The return line will be the lower line coming from the passenger side. Make sure you do not by pass the transmission cooler at the radiator. It helps moderate the transmission fluid temperature in the winter and when your stuck in traffic and the cooler has no air flow.

Good luck and keep us posted.
