Transmission Wiring Harness

I just recently installed a rebuilt 4L60E transmission into my '94 GMC Z71. It seems it only has 2nd & 3rd gear. I used a toggle switch tester box that connects to the battery and it actually shifts into all gears. A guy told me to check the grounds for the transmission harness. Does anybody know the function of each color of the transmission wiring harness?

Update: 1994 Z71 Transmission Troubles. Fixed it. Had to pull pan and fixed pinched wire inside transmission between oil filter and bottom of transmission. Thanks for all the tips.
